If we say that we have fellowship with Jesus but we still living in darkness and not obeying His Word - we are telling a lie and living in a world of illusion. So the truth becomes a stranger to us.
But if we are obeying His commandments and we are really living in His light; then we have true fellowship with Him and greatest is the joy that He brings to us.
